National Account Executive

The National Account Executive will aggressively drive new business development growth with national accounts in the Retail, Grocery, and Convenience Store (C-Store) markets. This team member will be instrumental to Surfacequest’s rapid and sustainable growth throughout the nation.

General Purpose

Working with a team of Surfacequest-Certified Installers, you will aid in setting up the work area, prep substrates, apply the film, and clean up the work area once the install is complete.

Full-time, hourly


M-F, occasional weekend work at the after-hours rate

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops new clientele focusing on national owners, design firms, asset management firms, and general contractors.
  • Achieve pipeline, proposal, and closed proposal goals.
  • Provides historical records with daily entries into the company CRM.
  • Adjusts content of client-facing communication by studying and planning for the specific type of client.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and services.
  • Assist and participate in budgeted trade shows and other marketing efforts to build brand awareness.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, collaborating with the Sales Team, and Operations Team to execute the work, and make recommendations for managing future issues.

Skills Required:

  • High sales growth, hunter mentality, and an undeniable initiative-taker that personally creates his/her own book of business.
  • Proven datamining, prospecting, and account stabilization skills.
  • Ability to seamlessly shift sales approach to the client’s need.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to drive new business development growth.
  • 5+ years of client-facing sales experience within the Retail, Grocery, and/or Convenience Store (C-Store) markets, preferably at a national level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated writing, editing and proofing capabilities.
  • Clean, safe, presentable, and functional personal vehicle utilized for company use; business-related mileage will be reimbursed.
  • A personal cell phone utilized for company use; established monthly reimbursement provided.
